“[The apostle Paul] exhibits the two great counterparts of sin and righteousness as equal realities – the one as the world’s ruin, the other as its restoration. The one is a completed fact as well as the other. They are the only two great events or facts in the world’s history, and they confront each other.”

George Smeaton – Nineteenth-Century theologian

  • I can't believe, all these wonderful posts and no comments?! Well that's gonna change, trust me. Consider yourself subscribed to!

(I'm not sure if you remember me, but you left a comment at Demian's blog many moons back, and I responded to it. It was about his step-father's death and his subsequent marriage. I happened on that old post and your beautiful story about that climbing wall, and promptly smacked myself on the forehead for not coming here earlier!)

So I guess it's "Hello again, Brother! I meant what I said then, and I still mean it now!" :-)
  • Welcome to the blog.
I don't post as much as I should, it is about every two weeks. I am working on posting more as I "work out your own salvation with fear and trembling", learning to put God first in my life. I have a long ways to go, thankfully we have a patient God.
